Bio

Julie is a Wellington born and based Jeweller.  She has been making jewellery since 2010 and works predominantly with silver, gold and gemstones.

Drawn to surroundings in the natural world, architecture, travel, music and experimenting, Julie’s work consists of one off pieces and she takes great satisfaction in handcrafting unique pieces from beginning to end. 

From being amongst machinery and in workshops from a young age, Julie has always been inspired through working with her hands, tools and being benchside in the zone. Julie loves the creative process, from ideas often emerging in the middle of the night, to being in the studio silversmithing and the final part is also gratifying; people adorning themselves with something they revere.
